Current World realities and Spiritual Science
Yesterday, Saturday the 28th of February 2026, Israel and the USA attacked Iran and killed key thinkers there, leaders of some kind. Iran responded, as we know, with a desire to cause damage to anything American or Israeli. Israel and the USA want a regime change where a certain kind of thinking will be stopped and a new kind of thinking can come to life. The Iranians want something similar, I guess. Two ideologies are knocking up against each other.
What is clear, if one looks behind the kind of thoughts that lead to this kind of action, is that these human beings are of the fundamental belief that they can forcefully change human thinking on a mass basis by killing a few cultural leaders and causing material damage to such an extent that this will result in a change of thinking and moral orientation. From a spiritual scientific perspective, this is nonsense of course. I will first remind myself, as I write, what nonsense is, and then I will note what is more real.
What is nonsense is that we can change the thinking of others through force. Victor Frankl cleared this up for us. More nonsense is, there is no karma amongst humankind. If there is karma, then there is some reality, ‘God’, that works this out for us. Seeing ourselves as separate from this reality of a God is a sign of complete depravity. Starting to believe that we are beings that can judge others and decide what is right is a hell hole because none of us meet others with a clear conscience. What is it that tickles our conscience and why do we have one?
If there is no karma, we would have to be slaves to someone else who might have no conscience. Israel, the USA and Iran are attempting something that is implicitly nonsense. The horrifying part of this is that they are indirectly encouraging others to take up arms against each other, even at a micro level, based on the nonsense that earthly humanity, disconnected from their divinity, can solve things amongst themselves with force and intimidation. In doing so, they encourage human souls to ignore their spiritual nature even more. The only future here is divine intervention which is as objective as Nature. Nature is never kind or unkind, it just does what the situation requires. This could be for humankind famine, war, destruction, excess and inner depravity leading us downwards.
What is more real to take on between Israel, the USA and Iran is the following. I guess it is too late already, but for the rest of us, we should be countering this nonsense by living something real that will lead to hope and a more harmonious future. Living something more real would include adding concepts to our inner life that are being left out completely in the current world realities described above. Karma would be such a concept. It implicitly implies that there is a bigger reality that works between us correcting our individual conduct to others. Another would be that there is not an idea-world for each individual person on earth. Rather there is one idea-world that we are all searching for a relationship with. Who holds this inherently good and true idea-world together and offers it as an orientation reality for all human beings? Our conscience is determined by how close or how far we are from our individual relationship to this all-encompassing idea-world. Israel, the USA and Iran would be in a completely different relationship to each other if they sought this common, central, orienting, all-encompassing idea-world. They would find each other knowing that they are at different points on this worthwhile path of getting connected to the intentions of the Gods. They would know how hard it was and would be forgiving and gentle with each other because they would all know how hard this real challenge for all humankind is. Brotherhood might even be a possibility.
We all face this critical choice today. Are we going to be inwardly home to nonsense that is being clearly demonstrated to us on a world-scale, or are we going to get real and connect to ourselves? Connect to ourselves means to find, individually and then as community, our own orientation to the greater, all-encompassing conceptual world that is central to our own conscience and considers karma too. This is the only way to provide a balance to the extreme nonsense that wants to adopt our souls. We are at a critical pivot point. Spiritual science, some of the content of which has been engaged to enable this article’s message, is the source of how we can begin the rescuing of the right path for humanity. Spiritual scientists must stop enjoying it and come out and use it in the world. The world is asking for it with the cry of a mother who has just lost a child.
